Born and raised in Spain, Silvia obtained a degree in Fine Arts at the Universidad Complutense de Madrid. After working several years as an illustrator and graphic designer she exchanged her pencils for a camera and moved to New York to pursue a one year certificate program in "Photojournalism and Documentary Photography" at the International Center of Photography.
Surround by a family, abundant with architects, her creative interests strive to expose the depths of color in Art, the poetry of the written word and the power of architectural lines. Her pictures have brought to life the pages of several European and American magazines: Nerve, Village Voice,Der Speigel, Sky magazine, Marie Claire Italy, El Mundo and El Pais.
